Villa Suburbana

Situated in the suburbs of Lausanne, this housing buildings tries to respond to the struggle of the “villa suburbana”. Being at the same time a building of the city, and a building of the lanscape. For this reason the design stands as a freestanding element orientated toward the lac and the mountains while also connecting with strong geometrical gesture to the street.

Trying to bring all the qualities of a villa in the apartments, each unit is organized around a large loggia able to replace the traditional garden.
